About

My name is Tim Steiner and I’m fairly new to the world of blogging. I created Einsteiner.org to serve as an information resource and as a place to share my experiences on the web. I am a problem solver by nature and am always finding technical solutions for a wide variety of problems. This site will be dedicated to providing a wealth of information.

My Background
I have been a technical minded individual as long as I can remember. Growing up I spent my time learning how things work, how to take things apart, and I always enjoyed a good challenge. While most children spent their time with typical hobbies like sports, TV, etc., I spent my time soldering electronic circuits, learning HTML, and making things that blow up . Obviously not too much social life growing up ….
.
When I was 17 I joined the Air Force National Guard to pay for college. I signed up as an Aircraft Technician and specializing in fuel systems on C-130 aircraft. Joining the Air Force was probably one of the best decisions I have made. I have been in for 6 years now and have had the opportunity to see many countries such as Newfoundland, New Zealand, Romania, Scotland, Antarctica (yea I know this is more of a continent), The South Pole (The one without Santa Clause), Portugal, Afghanistan, and Turkey.
Education
Recently I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Network Security from Wilmington University 4.0 GPA (not to brag but… well actually I am), an A.A.S in Computer Network Engineering from Delaware Tech, and an A.A.S in Aviation Maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force.
I am working on a M.S. in Information Systems focusing on Information Assurance. Obviously I like learning that is my main inspiration for creating einsteiner.org.
Work History
I have worked in a variety of different jobs, I think that switching it up is good to keep things interesting. My most recent experiences are as a full-time Ebay powerseller (selling mostly RIM Blackberrys and Nintendo Wiis), an Aircraft technician in the U.S. Air force, a Senior Network Engineer at Technology Matrix Inc., and currently a Quality Assurance Engineer at SafeNet Inc.
I always enjoy meeting new interesting people. Leave me a comment or contact me:
